PERFORMANCE BOND <br />Before execution of a contract by the City, the Proposer shall fife with the City, a <br />"Pertormance Bond" for 100% of the contract price to guarantee faithful performance of <br />work, within the time prescribed, in a manner satisfactory to the City. <br />The bond shall be executed by the successful Proposer and returned within ten (10) days <br />(not including Saturdays and Sundays) after the successful Proposer has received notice <br />that the contract has been awarded. Failure to comply with this requirement shall be just <br />cause for the annulment of the award and the forteiture of the proposal guaranty ("Bid <br />Bond"). <br />17. LICENSES & PERMITS: <br />Business License <br />Each prime proposer and sub proposer shall obtain and pay for a Santa Ana Business <br />License. Detailed information concerning business license may be obtained from the <br />Finance and Management Services Agency, (714) 647-5447. <br />18. SERVICE/MAINTENANCE <br />The proposer shall provide on-site warranty for all workmanship and equipment for four <br />(4} months following sign off of the project by the Santa Ana Police Department. <br />Warranty and response times shall be during norms! business hours, 24 hour response <br />time to site, and 4 hour response time to phone calls. Extended on-site warranties may <br />be proposed as part of the proposal. submittal. Projector lamps shall carry only the <br />manufacturer's warranty however the changing of lamps, if required in the first 4 months, <br />is the responsibility of the proposer. All hardware must have a minimum of one-year <br />factory warranty. <br />19. INSURANCE <br />A. During performance, and entirely at Proposer's sole expense, Proposer <br />shall procure and maintain the following insurance, which shall be full coverage <br />insurance not subject to self-insurance provisions. Proposer shall not, of its own <br />initiative, cause such insurance to be canceled or materially changed during course of <br />agreement. <br />(1) Workers' Compensation Insurance: with the limits established and <br />required by the State of California. <br />(2) Employers' Liability with a combined single limit of $1,000,000.00. <br />(3) Comprehensive General Liability to include Completed Operation, Contractual, <br />Independent Proposers and Personal Injury; and Automobile Liability, <br />including all auto; with at least the following combined limits of Liability: <br />(a) Primary Bodily Injury Liability limits of $1,000,000.000 per <br />occurrence. <br />6 <br />TRpXELL GpAR~Ui~J1CATtp~s WC <br />
