This addendum shall become a part of the original Request for Proposal <br />due by 2:00 p.m. on May 15, 2007. <br /> <br />This addendum is provided in response to questions asked at the pre-proposal conference <br />conducted on May 1,2007. All communications to the City of Santa Ana regarding the Request <br />for Proposal should be sent via e-mail toBillO.Conneratbillo@ci.santa-ana.ca.us <br /> <br />Page 11 - Specialized Services: add El Salvador Park as additional site (#5) for infield maintenance to be <br />performed by subcontractor. <br /> <br />Page 22, Item c - insert the following language: Locations for soils samples testing will be determined by the <br />Director. Last paragraph change to read: After review of the soils reports~ the Contractor shall, at no extra cost to <br />the City, perform the work recommended by the soil and plant lab to improve soil health and fertility up to a <br />maximum of $50,000 per year throughout the park system. <br /> <br />Page 25, Item 2.a-3 - insert the following language: The cap on the number of flats provided per year shall be <br />532 total flats. <br /> <br />Page 26, Item 3-1> - insert the following language: The cap on the number of shrubs to be replaced per year shall <br />be 9,344 total one-gallon shrubs. <br /> <br />Page 26, Item 4-a - insert as second sentence the following language: All areas other than parking lots and <br />vehicular roadways shall be raised to a height of ten (l0) feet <br /> <br />Page 28, Item 6-a - insert the tollowing langnage: The cap on the number of vines planted per year shall be 400 <br />lotal vines. <br /> <br />Page 28, Item 6-b - change to read as CoUows: Contractor will not be required to trim the vine once it reaches the <br />top of the wall. However, the Contractor shall remove vines from telephone poles, roofs, eaves, or other landscape <br />amenities. <br />
