<br />II. Responsibilities: <br /> <br />B. Emergency Response Project Manager ( Operations Coordinator. <br /> <br />1. The Emergency Response Project Manager (Operations Coordinator is <br />responsible for the health and safety performance of assigned projects. <br />2. Each Emergency Response Project Manager (Operations Coordinator is <br />responsible for implementing the Health and Safety Program within their office. <br />3. Delegating the Emergency Response Project Manager (Operations Coordinator <br />responsibilities, other than "on-site" safety and safety & IH documents, for the <br />AMX Health and Safety Program to a Response Foreman or other <br />administrative employee defeats the effectiveness of the program and is not <br />permitted. <br />4. The Emergency Response Project Manager (Operations Coordinator shall hold a <br />meeting with all employee each month for the express purpose of discussing <br />accident prevention measures, reviewing accidents that may have occurred, and <br />reviewing measures that wiJI be taken to prevent future accidents and/or <br />incidents. This can be accomplished in person or by way of a conference call. <br /> <br />C. Emergency Response Project Manager. <br /> <br />1. Each Emergency Response Project Manager will supervise, monitor and attend <br />(rotating basis) safety meetings held by Response Foremen I and Response <br />Foremen II under hislher immediate supervision. <br />2. The Emergency Response Project Manager is responsible for the overall <br />training, control and conduct of all supervised personnel. Specific <br />responsibilities are as follows: <br /> <br />a. Placement. Know all personnel are assigned to jobs for which they are <br />physically fit. <br />b. Participation. Encourage a high degree of safety, morale and <br />participation by employees. <br />c. Tools and Equipment. Assure that tools and equipment meet all safety <br />requirements and are used safely. <br />d. PPE. Assure that protective equipment of a type recommended for the <br />craft is available and used by all personnel when required. <br />e. Housekeeping. Ensure that a high level of orderliness in working areas <br />is maintained at all times. <br />f. Communication. Conduct regular meetings with General Foreman and <br />Foremen to assure that they understand and implement all facets of the <br />Company H&S policies. <br />g. Compliance. Tours work areas regularly and make corrections as <br />necessary . <br />h. Injuries and Incidents. Participate in a thorough investigation of all <br />injuries and serious incidents that occur within the project. <br />i. Policies and Procedures. Review applicable procedures when issued <br />and periodically thereafter as a reminder. <br /> <br />3. Emergency Response Project Manager will not allow employees to use tools, <br />equipment, machinery, etc., unless they have been trained in their hazards and <br />controls. <br /> <br />D. Response Foreman/Site Safety Officer. <br /> <br />1. Each Response Foreman/Site Safety Officer will hold a safety meeting with his <br />crew, daily. This will be held at the beginning of the work shift. Meetings will <br />be held on company time and should be 10 to 15 minutes in length. The <br />Foreman will not replace the daily foreman's safety meeting with any other <br />
