In accordance with California Environmental Quality Act, the <br />proposed project is exempt from further review pursuant to section 15262, which involves <br />a feasibility and planning study of a transportation system. Categorical Exemption <br />Environmental Review No. 07-125 will be filed for this project. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby supports the <br />Orangeline Development Authority Magnetic Levitation Project and authorizes seeking <br />funding to pay the annual fee for membership in the Joint Exercise of Powers with the <br />Orangeline Development Authority. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City has been presented with a proposed agreement entitled <br />"First Amended Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement". The City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana hereby approves the agreement and directs and authorizes the City <br />Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the First Amended Joint Exercise of <br />Powers Agreement with the Orangeline Development Authority for the purpose of <br />promoting this development. <br /> <br />Section 5.
