<br />INSURANCE NOT ON FILE <br />WORKMAYllilIPROCEED A-2007-187 <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL / <br /> <br />OA6E: f\UG ~~~~MENT WITH ALL ACCESS ENTERTAINMENT TO PRODUCE <br />O:~~:CS"2 Ed~ THE FIESTAS PATRIAS SANTA ANA SEPTEMBER FESTIVAL <br /> <br />This Agreement is entered into on August 3, 2007, by and between the City 0 f Santa Ana, a charter <br />City and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the <br />state of California, ( "City") and All Access Entertainment Company, (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Event Producer"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The City desires to retain a company having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />promotion of special events in order to plan and produce the 2007 September Festival to be <br />named "Fiestas Patrias Santa Ana" (hereinafter "Event") for the City. <br /> <br />B. Event Producer has produced said Event in previous years. <br /> <br />C. Event Producer shall ensure that the Event remains a positive, family-oriented event <br />reflective of the community. <br /> <br />D. Event Producer represents that it is able and willing to provide such services to the City. <br /> <br />E. In undertaking the performance ofthis Agreement, Event Producer represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Event Producer under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional Event Producer in the field. <br /> <br />I. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Event Producer shall produce said Event on September 15 and 16, 2007, in the downtown <br />area of Santa Ana as described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />Additional terms included in Scope of Work shall be: <br /> <br />a) EVENT HOURS. Event hours will be during the following time periods: <br />i) Saturday, September 15,2007: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />ii) Sunday, September 16, 2007: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />iii) El Grito ceremony, produced entirely by Fiestas Patrias de Orange County, <br />shall be on the Main Stage Saturday, September 15, from 6:30 p.rn. to 10:00 <br />p.rn. <br /> <br />b ) LAYOUT and BOOTHS. City shall retain the right to approve the general layout of <br />said Event, including the placement of booths, stages, etc., and: <br />i) In exchange for extending the boundaries of the Event beyond Broadway to <br />Ross, Event Producer shall reserve for and donate to the City of Santa Ana <br />and/or its assignees thirty (30) booths distributed evenly throughout the entire <br />layout of the Event and shall include a minimum of two (2) booths for food <br />sales. Said booths will be divided as follow: eighteen (18) for sponsors, two (2) <br />for food, and ten (10) for cultural exhibits, <br />1 <br />
