PROJECT BACKGROUND <br />An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared by the City of Santa Ana to <br />evaluate the impacts of the proposed MacArthur Place South project, located west of <br />the SR -55 freeway, south of MacArthur Boulevard and east of Main Street and north <br />of Sandpoint Avenue. <br />The MacArthur Place South project includes the development of three 25 -story <br />residential towers, 5- and 6 -story condominiums, a 5 and 6 story office and <br />residential loft development, retail uses and a restaurant. The EIR identified the <br />proposed ramp modifications as part of the mitigation measures for the proposed <br />development. A copy of the EIR is available for review at the City of Santa Ana. <br />Please contact Souri Amirani at (714) 647 -5640 to schedule an appointment. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The Consultant shall be responsible for the preparation and submittal of the <br />combined PSR/PR, environmental documentation, and PS &E through completion, <br />with City and Caltrans approval. The following is the breakdown of the scope of <br />work for the project. Any additional tasks deemed necessary by the Consultant shall <br />be clearly identified in the proposal. <br />A. Management and Administration <br />Consultant is fully responsible for overall project management, <br />administration and coordination for the project, including but not limited to <br />the following: <br />1. Meetings - Progress review meetings shall be monthly with all <br />stakeholders and may be held either at the City or Caltrans, as <br />necessary. The Consultant shall provide the agenda and any <br />necessary exhibits a minimum of two days in advance, shall prepare <br />and distribute meeting minutes, and identification and follow -up of <br />action items. Additional meetings shall be included as necessary to <br />address project issues as they arise. <br />2. Progress Reporting - Progress Reports shall be submitted at monthly <br />intervals, indicating progress achieved during the reporting period in <br />relation to the progress scheduled. The Consultant shall provide the <br />City with two (2) copies of the Progress Report at least four (4) working <br />days before the Monthly Progress Meeting. <br />3. Third Party Coordination — The Consultant shall be fully responsible for <br />the coordination and approval of all third party entities. This includes: <br />a. Agencies - Consultant shall be responsible for the coordination <br />and resolution of issues with all outside Agencies, including but <br />not limited to, the City of Irvine and Caltrans. All field activities, <br />such as surveying and geotechnical, will require a Caltrans <br />encroachment permit and shall be the responsibility of the <br />Consultant to secure this permit. <br />b. Utility Companies - Research and obtain file copy of utility maps <br />within the project limits for existing and /or proposed facilities. <br />Those agencies may include, but not limited to, the following: <br />10 <br />
