Research & Data Collection <br />The Consultant shall research and collection information related to the <br />Project site including existing field conditions, improvement plans and <br />record drawings, agreements, right -of -way information, and future <br />circulation improvements required by conditions of development. <br />C. Survey and Mapping <br />Survey and mapping of the project site in imperial units in Microstation <br />format shall be provided for utilization in presenting the alternatives in the <br />PSR/PR, and shall be in accordance with Caltrans Surveys Manual. <br />Consultant is responsible for all research of existing survey records at <br />each City and at Caltrans. <br />D. Environmental Documents <br />All necessary environmental documentation shall be prepared for the <br />proposed project, approved by Caltrans, and filed with the County. It is <br />expected that the project will be Categorically Exempt under CEQA, <br />however, the Consultant as part of their proposal shall review the <br />proposed project and site conditions and identify if a higher level <br />environmental document may be required along with an optional cost to <br />provide the higher level document if it is deemed necessary. As all <br />funding is local, there are no NEPA requirements. <br />E. Preliminary Engineering <br />This task includes the preparation and approval of Geometric Approval <br />Drawings for the preferred project including utility information, drainage <br />review, and right -of -way information. The proposed ramp improvements <br />as shown in Exhibit "B" are for reference only. The Consultant is <br />responsible for determining the appropriate configuration for the <br />improvements. Consultant will be responsible for the preparation of any <br />mandatory or advisory fact sheets for Caltrans approval. <br />F. Combined PSR/PR <br />The Consultant shall prepare a combined Project Study Report/Project <br />Report (PSR/PR) with all necessary documentation, studies, estimates <br />and exhibits in accordance with the latest edition of the Caltrans Project <br />Development Procedures Manual. <br />This task will include the preparation of any Fact Sheets for exceptions to <br />11 <br />
