Pjc:8/29/07 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT TO <br />AUTHORIZE THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR SERVICES <br />PROVIDED AS PART OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA'S MEMBERSHIP <br />IN THE INTEGRATED LAW AND JUSTICE AGENCY FOR ORANGE <br />COUNTY FOR THE 2007-2008 FISCAL YEAR. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. In 2002, the City Council authorized membership of the City of Santa Ana <br />in the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County and <br />approved the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />B. Expenditures for each fiscal year for participation in the Integrated Law <br />and Justice Agency for Orange County requires City Council approval. <br />C. The Santa Ana Police Department has received an invoice from the <br />Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County for fiscal year <br />2007-2008 in the amount of $61,298.00. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby: <br />Authorizes the Santa Ana Police Department to expend funds in the <br />amount of $61,298.00 for the member agency fees for the membership of <br />the City of Santa Ana in the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for <br />Orange County for fiscal year 2007-2008. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />.2007. <br />Miguel A.
