Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br /> <br />We estimate that during the 2007-2008 contract year a minimum of 13% of clients served in our Emergency Shelter <br />will be residents of Santa Ana. Laura's House will provide a comprehensive 30-45 day residential shelter program <br />utilzing the ESG Funds (1.8% of total program budget) towards serving 18 battered women and children who are <br />residents of Santa Ana and are homeless due to domestic violence. The emergency shelter program includes food <br />and clothing; individual counseling; therapeutic and education groups; life skills and parenting classes; legal <br />assistance; case management and social advocacy with resources necessary for the client to transition from shelter <br />living to independence and self-sufficiency. <br /> <br />Schedule of Performace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12- <br />month contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
