The services will support specific City projects as they may be proposed. With a n umber ofcompleted successful term contracts, EIP/PBS&J understands the nature and demands of as -needed environmental service solicitations. Key on-call service contracts or qualified short lists held by EIP/PBS&J include: • Long Beach Redevelopment Agency • City of Long Beach • Orange County Water District • Culver City • Ontario Redevelopment Agency • University of California Los Angeles • Riverside County Economic Development Agency • Los Angeles Unified School District SUBCONSULTANTS To be as responsive as necessary to any issue that may arise, we routinely augment our capabilities to provide more specialized services. The EIP/PBS&J team has a long history of working in California on specific projects that may be requested by the City, including land use planning, CEQA and other regulatory agency compliance, water quality, natural resource assessment, and public involvement. We have composed a team that reflects the diversity of the community in which we live and work. Kaplan Chen Kaplan — Cultural Resources Kaplan Chen Kaplan (KCK) believes that historic preservation can preserve important cultural heritage and provide a useful, sustainable building. They utilize the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Treatment Firm Introduction D2:11W.M05W of Historic Structures and State Historical Building Code to assist in analyzing and preserving original historic design within a safe environment. KCK provides a full range of historic architecture and planning services, including site and facilities analyses, historic research and evaluations, master planning of historic resources, coordination with governmental agencies and reviews, concept documents for approvals and fundraising efforts, architectural design and construction documents, specifications for treatment of historic structures and materials, as well as comprehensive construction phase services. Katz Okitsu & Associates (KOA Corporation) - Traffic The KOA Corporation (KOA) is a consulting engineering firm providing planning and engineering services to government and private sector clients. In January of 1995, the firm was incorporated and merged with Rock E. Miller and Associates to establish its Orange County office. KOA has a staff of over 80 dedicated employees located in five offices (Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ontario, and Oakland). KOA has strong expertise in transportation engineering and in project management. They have served in key roles on many of the largest transportation projects in Southern California. The firm's capabilities and experience include a wide range of work for public agencies and private developments.
