substantial hazard will result from occupancy of any building or portion thereof <br />before the same is completed, a temporary certificate of occupancy may be <br />issued for the use of a portion or portions of a building or structure prior to the <br />completion of the entire building or structure. The Building Official shall set a <br />time period during which the Temporary Certificate of Occupancy is valid. <br />a-A9 110.5 Posting. The certificate of occupancy shall be posted in a <br />conspicuous place on the premises and shall not be removed except by the <br />building official. <br />-a-A9 110.6 Revocation. The building official may, in writing, suspend or <br />revoke a certificate of occupancy issued under the provisions of this code <br />whenever the certificate is issued in error, or on the basis of incorrect information <br />supplied, or when it is determined that the building or structure or portion thereof <br />is in violation of any ordinance or regulation or any of the provisions of this code. <br />a-A~ 110.7 Inspections. It shall be the responsibility of the owner or <br />occupant whose action makes necessary the issuance of a certificate of <br />occupancy pursuant to this section to apply to the building official for the <br />inspection of the building or structure or portion thereof as necessary to obtain <br />such certificate. Each application shall be accompanied by the payment of a <br />nonrefundable application processing fee and an inspection fee, which shall be <br />refunded if an inspection proves to be unnecessary, in such amounts as shall be <br />established by resolution of the city council. The building official and the <br />executive director of finance and management services shall establish <br />procedures and forms to implement this subsection. <br />x-99 110.8 Prohibition against falsification. No person shall alter or <br />reproduce a certificate of occupancy for the purpose of circumventing the <br />requirements of this section. <br />SECTION 8: That section 8-113 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby <br />deleted in its entirety (new language underlined, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br />Sec.8-113.
