Continuous case management <br />support will be provided (frequency <br />is dependent on the need ofthe <br />client) <br />Timeline: l2 months after exit <br /> <br />Facilities <br />State location where program services will be delivered. <br />The Orangewood Children's Foundation (OCF) is located in Santa Ana at 1575 E. 17th <br />Street. This location is easily accessible by bus as there are bus stops (eastbound and <br />westbound) directly in front of the facility. Additionally, our facility is centrally located <br />between 22, 55 and 5 freeways. OCF is well known to our adolescent and young adult <br />population ages 16 - 21 as we conduct approximately 100 ILP workshops at this location <br />per year. We also have approximately 2000 duplicated visits to the ORC per year. <br /> <br />How will participant access site if not within City of Santa Ana boundaries? <br />Although our facility is located in Santa Ana, sometimes our clients may not be able to get <br />to us. Fortunately, our Foster Youth Liaison Project peer mentors are accessible by <br />telephone, email and they may meet a client in the field when necessary. <br /> <br />What are your hours of operation? <br />The Orangewood Children's Foundation hours of operation are Monday through Friday <br />from 8:30 a.m, - 5:00 p.m. The Orangewood Resource Center (ORC) is open Monday <br />from 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.. Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday <br />from 9:00 a.m. - 1 :30 p,m. Clients who make an appointment with ORC staff or peer <br />mentors may meet with them or utilize the ORC after hours. <br /> <br />How has the organization assured that the location is a safe and youth friendly environment? <br />The Orangewood Children's Foundation strives to be a safe and youth friendly <br />environment for our staff and clientele. In 2003 the Orangewood Children's Foundation <br />purchased two brand new buildings totaling 22,000 square feet. This presented us the <br />opportunity to construct an envirorunent designed to be youth friendly and safe! The <br />Orangewood Resource Center is staffed by the Education and Career Specialist and at <br />least one peer mentor. Also, there are four other program staff in direct visual contact <br />with the ORC at all times. An staff ensure that youth behave appropriately in their <br />interactions with other youth and staff intervene quickly when needed, <br />
