Agreement for Testing <br />And Inspection Services <br />January 7, 2008 <br />Page 2 <br />Ta acquire these services, requests for proposal (RFP) were sent to nine <br />inspection and testing firms and five firms responded. A committee <br />consisted of four staff members of the Public Works Agency evaluated the <br />proposals. Each firm was rated according to its qualifications, past <br />experience and capacity to perform the required work. United <br />Inspection & Testing, Tnc. has extensive experience with testing and <br />inspection of various types of construction. Services will be acquired on <br />an as-needed basis. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The total obligation of this agreement shall not exceed $436,338.
