<br />..UNITED" <br />INSPECTION <br />& TESTING INC. <br /> <br />EQUAL OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICY <br />(Continued) <br /> <br />5,1.7: The Company shall not deny any female employee the right to any job that she is <br />qualified to perform in reliance upon any state "protective" law. <br /> <br />5,1.8: The Company shall not specify any differences for male and female employees on <br />the basis of sex in either mandatory or optional retirement age. <br /> <br />5.2: Recruitment and Advertisina <br /> <br />5.2.1: The Company will recruit persons for all jobs without regard to sex unless sex is a <br />bona fide occupational qualification. <br /> <br />5.2.2: The Company will ensure that advertisements do not express a sex preference. <br /> <br />5,3: Preanancy. Childbirth and Related Medical <br /> <br />5.3.1: Employees and applicants for employment shall not be denied employment <br />because of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. <br /> <br />5.3.2: Childbearing shall be considered by the Company tobe a justification for a leave of <br />absence for a female employee for a reasonable period of time. Following <br />childbirth, and upon a female signifying her inte'nt to return to work within a <br />reasonable time, such female employee shall be reinstated to her original job or to <br />a position of like status and pay, without loss of ~ervi~e credits. <br /> <br />5.4: It is Company policy that neither sexual harassment nor rewards for granting of sexual favors have <br />any place in the work place. <br />
