shall determine and agree upon the capabilities of each city to <br />respond to involvements requiring special equipment. <br />7. Each city shall be responsible for police traffic <br />control and traffic light control, within its own geographical <br />boundaries. <br />8. For purposes of liaison and the administration of <br />this contract, the Fire Chiefs of each city are designated as <br />the representatives of the parties to this Agreement, and they <br />shall be jointly responsible for the administration of this <br />contract. This responsibility may be delegated to agents or <br />employees within the respective fire departments of the cities, <br />provided that each party shall furnish the other in writing the <br />names and rank of each such representative. <br />9. whenever either city responds to multiple company <br />emergencies outside its geographical boundaries, the other city <br />will provide an officer of its department of the grade of <br />Battalion Commander or greater, who will be in charge and who <br />will direct activities and have the final voice in releasing <br />any engine company from the same. <br />10. Each city shall be responsible for obtaining the <br />cooperation of the district or department providing water service <br />within its own territorial jurisdiction for operations undertaken <br />pursuant to this Agreement. Each city shall bear any water costs <br />or pay any water charges assessed or arising within its own <br />territorial jurisdiction without cost to the other city. Each <br />city shall comply with all of the rules and regulations imposed <br />by any water department or water district with respect to the use <br />of the hydrants, pipelines, pumps and other facilities. <br />11. It is understood and agreed by and between the <br />parties hereto that no money payments will be made between <br />either city, that no charges will be assessed by either city <br />against the other, and that each city shall be fully responsible <br />-3- <br />
