FOLLOWED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY. <br /> <br />COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Pursuant to Santa Ana Charter Section 411, any member of the City Council may place <br />items on the City Council Agenda to be considered by the City Council. <br /> <br />85.A. CREATION OF AD HOC COMMITTEE TO REVIEW CURRENT <br />COUNCIL MEETING STRUCTURE (TINAJERO, SARMIENTO, AND <br />ALVAREZ) <br /> <br />Sean Mill spoke in support of the creation of an Ad Hoc Committee; Steve <br />McGuigan supported televising all Council meetings; Jackie Deter <br />suggested a committee comprised of citizens; Stanley Fiala expressed <br />concern that the creation of an Ad Hoc committee would not be the <br />solution; George Collins, Alex Vega, and Lisann Martinez raised general <br />concerns related to the matter. <br /> <br />Motion: <br /> <br />1. Create an Ad Hoc Committee comprised of three Council <br />Members appointed by the Mayor to review the current Council <br />meeting structure including television and other media access <br /> <br />2. Direct the Ad Hoc Committee to submit its recommendations to <br />the Council at the February 4, 2008 City Council meeting <br /> <br />3.
