<br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />90A PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Jackie Deter and Mike Tardif raised concerns related to the proposed <br />Renaissance Plan; Steve McGuigan noted the importance of televising all <br />meetings; Alberta Christy announced that she was chairing the 2008 Black <br />History Fair and Parade to be held on February 2, 2008 and she <br />encouraged all residents to participate in this event; George Collins <br />offered suggestions to the Ad Hoc Committee members; Lupe Moreno <br />recommended that the City Council honor America's veterans; Gary <br />Boatwright and Stanley Fiala voiced general concerns; Tom Gordon <br />expressed concern about the amount of time it takes to remove graffiti; <br />Alex Vega encouraged the Council to take meetings to the people; George <br />Estrada expressed opposition to Proposition 93 and Measure D on the <br />February 5, 2008 ballot and Pedro Magallon thanked the Council for their <br />efforts in supporting youth soccer. <br /> <br />90.B. Noted that there is a lot of information both accurate and inaccurate on <br />the Renaissance Plan and asked staff to convince legislators at all <br />levels to work with the City <br />. Noted that she went to the City's fire stations with Councilmember <br />Sarmiento to deliver food baskets during the holiday season <br />.
