Responses to <br />Environmental Checklist <br />For CEQA Compliance <br />G. Conflict with adopted policies supporting alternative transportation <br />No Impact <br />The proposed project would not be in conflict with any City policies regarding alternative modes of <br />transportation. Nor would implementation of the proposed project displace any existing modes of public <br />transportation provided within the project area. <br />XVI. Utilities and Service Systems <br />A. Exceed wastewater treatment requirements of the applicable Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board? <br />B. Require or result in the construction of new water or wastewater treatment facilities or <br />expansion of existing facilities, the construction of which could cause significant <br />environmental effects? <br />C. Require or result in the construction of new storm water drainage facilities or expansion <br />of existing facilities, the construction of which could cause significant environmental <br />effects? <br />D. Are sufficient water supplies available to serve the project from existing entitlements and <br />resources or are new or expanded entitlements needed? <br />E. Result in the determination by the wastewater treatment provider, which serves or may <br />serve the project that it has adequate capacity to serve the project's projected demand in <br />addition to the providers existing commitments. <br />No Impact <br />The Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) regulates wastewater treatment for the City of Santa Ana. <br />The proposed project will not cause any violation of those standards set forth by the OCSD. <br />The City of Santa Ana and OCSD would provide wastewater service to the proposed project. The project <br />area is currently improved with wastewater sewer facilities. Implementation of the project wtluld not <br />increase wastewater demands in the project area over current condition. The wastewater demands of <br />the project would be accounted for in the City's Urban Water Management Plan. Additionally, <br />implementation of the project would not increase the amount of surface water runoff currently generated <br />from the project site. The project would not require the construction of new drainage facilities. <br />The City of Santa Ana Water Department would provide domestic water service for the proposed project. <br />Implementation of the proposed project would not increase water demand within the project area over the <br />current condition. The proposed project is consistent with the General Plan and water demands are <br />accounted for in the City's Urban Water Management Ptan. <br />F. Is the project served by a landfill with sufficient permitted capacity to accommodate the <br />project's solid waste disposal needs? <br />G. Comply with federal, state and local statutes and regulations related to solid waste? <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br />75~~5 15 <br />
