Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by the <br />funded pro ram, named above, during the 12 -month contract period. <br />4100 Persons <br />11. Number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program, named above, during the <br />12 -month contract period. <br />3650 Persons <br />Program and Funding Description <br />111. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />SMEDA will continue to provide an array of services that meet our clients' basic needs, including but in some cases <br />not limited to hot meals, food (groceries), clothing and infant care items. We will offer emergency services, too, <br />based on referral services from social service agencies, schools and local hospitals; and we will continue to serve <br />as a site for volunteer services mandated by the courts, social service and the schools for young people and adults. <br />With the area's economy taking the same downward turn as the rest of the nation, SMEDA staff will have to stay <br />abreast of the other services available in the City to ensure that in those instances where our clients' needs extend <br />beyond what we have to offer we can refer them to the appropriate agency. To this end, we will continue to offer <br />referrals to other agencies to ensure that our clients' needs are met. <br />Schedule of Performace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 - <br />month contract period per quarter.
