STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />PLANNING AND BUILDING AGENCY <br />SECTION 3 — SERVICES <br />Environmental Planning <br />T�MV <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br />AMEC environmental planning staff has successfully managed assignments of various size <br />and complexity throughout southern California. Our clients include government agencies <br />and private clients. Our experience includes presentations at public meetings and hearings, <br />liaison between agency staff and applicants to achieve project compliance with CEQA and <br />NEPA. Our staff's project experience includes regionally significant recreational facilities, <br />parks, cultural centers, office and mixed use development projects, specific plans, General <br />Plan amendments, annexations, infrastructure, residential developments, subdivisions, <br />industrial and commercial centers. AMEC staff has prepared numerous impact studies <br />satisfying requirements of the CEQA such as ISs, NDs, MNDs, and full -scope EIRs as well <br />as EAs and EISs pursuant to NEPA. We offer the following types of environmental planning <br />services: <br />Initial Studies <br />Expanded Initial Studies and Mitigated Negative Declarations <br />Environmental Assessments /Findings of No Significant Impact <br />Environmental Impact Statements /Records of Decision <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Programs <br />• Findings of No Practicable Alternatives <br />Statements of Overriding Considerations <br />Technical Studies <br />Third Party Review <br />Peer Review <br />Public Meetings and Hearings <br />• Focused EIRs <br />Project EIRs <br />• Program EIRs <br />Findings <br />Our environmental planners will provide high - quality CEQA and NEPA services and will be <br />supported by technical expertise on an as- needed basis from other AMEC offices in the <br />following resource areas: <br />Biological Resource Studies <br />AMEC's Natural Resources Business Unit spans offices in Anaheim, Riverside, and San <br />Diego and provides full -scope biological resource studies including focused field surveys, <br />habitat assessments for threatened, endangered and sensitive plants and animals, and <br />monitoring utilizing our certified, licensed, and accredited personnel. Our Natural Resources <br />Unit handles a wide variety of projects from commercial and industrial properties to <br />government and public projects. They are well versed in the California and Federal <br />Endangered Species Acts as well as threatened and endangered species survey protocols. <br />AMEC can provide these services on a full -time or on -call basis. <br />Air Quality and Noise Impact Assessment <br />AMEC's regional planners and engineers provide technical support in the areas of air quality <br />impact assessment, noise impact assessment, and vibration analyses. They are familiar <br />with local methodologies for evaluating project impacts and are available to lend project <br />support on an as needed basis. <br />Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing, and Phase I and II Environmental Site <br />Assessment <br />AMEC provides environmental engineering and geotechnical engineering from our Anaheim <br />location.
