LSA ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />APRIL 2008 <br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />TO PROVIDE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />monitors revegetation programs, and facilitates successful completion of permitting assignments. <br />p p p g � <br />Extensive use of GIS and global positioning system (GPS) has become a regular part of our work. <br />In Noise and Air Quality, LSA offers complete assessment modeling and monitoring of noise/air <br />quality impacts for residential, commercial, and industrial development; General Plan/Specific Plan <br />studies; and transportation projects. These services include modeling of construction and operational <br />emissions with mobile and stationary sources. <br />LSA's Transportation staff offers comprehensive planning and engineering services for all aspects <br />of development and transportation projects. Our services include preparation of traffic impact <br />assessment reports, modeling for regional transportation networks, identifying roadway funding and <br />cost -sharing opportunities, and assessing traffic and parking conditions. <br />LSA's Cultural Resources staff provides field surveys, testing, laboratory services, resource <br />evaluation, and historical assessments. When required to offset significant impacts, we will develop <br />cost -sensitive and practical mitigation for cultural resource protection and preservation. <br />LSA's Water Quality staff offers specialized expertise in stormwater runoff management, water <br />quality assessment, and best management practices to develop effective solutions to water quality <br />issues and prevent contamination of our nation's waters. <br />LSA's GIS staff utilizes up-to-date technology to map and analyze environmental data and <br />information. We apply GPS technology to locate resources and geographic reference points for <br />surveys. Spatial data are used to generate digital maps and aerial photographic overlays to facilitate <br />project planning, augment environmental impact assessments, and enhance public presentations. <br />LSA's Graphics staff is critical to our success, presenting complex information in visually appealing <br />presentations. Accurate and clear mapping, visual simulations, shade/shadow analyses, and <br />photography are essential components of our presentation of environmental analyses and planning <br />projects. <br />SUBCONSULTANT SERVICES <br />Haley & Aldrich, Inc. (H&A) has been added to the project team to address probable project <br />technical needs. H&A has been providing strategic environmental, engineering, and management <br />consulting services for over 50 years. In their practices and partnerships, they seek to integrate <br />technology and human potential to achieve outcomes that benefit our clients as well as the <br />communities they serve. H&A has developed an integrated practice to help public sector, industrial, <br />and developer clients through the technical and regulatory issues involved with existing and potential <br />environmental issues and concerns. H&A has over 450 professional and support staff in the United <br />States, with 61 employees located in its five Southern California offices. H&A's professional staff <br />includes geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists at various levels of expertise, from recent <br />college graduates to seasoned consultants with up to 30 years of professional experience.
