Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />The Interval House Domestic Violence Outreach Program will provide assistance to 3,225 victims of domestic <br />violence and their children through individual and group counseling, 24-hour crisis hotline counseling, outreach <br />education and awareness, and other support services. <br />The goal of this program is to reach Santa Ana residents, who are victims of domestic violence or at -risk to <br />violence in the home, and to improve the community by increasing awareness of culturally appropriate <br />resources that will lead to empowered families and communities. With CDBG support, Interval House <br />anticipates reaching over 4,500 residents from Santa Ana through domestic violence outreach education and <br />direct services. Services to be Provided:lndividual and Group Counseling: Sensitive and flexible counseling <br />services will be available for adults, teens, children, and elders in shelter and outreach programs. Counseling <br />services range from peer support to therapeutic individual and group counseling provided by skilled professional <br />and para -professional counselors in over 45 different languages. <br />24 -Hour Crisis Hotlines: Emergency assistance, crisis counseling, and referrals to immediate safety will be <br />available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for victims and their children. The hotlines will also serve the general <br />community and law enforcement agencies. This hotline is unique in the United States as it provides immediate <br />service and on-site counseling in over 50 different languages spoken by staff and advocates. Community <br />Education, Prevention, & Training: Our expert staff, graduates and volunteer advocates are always available to <br />speak to community groups on the issues surrounding domestic violence and its prevention. Community <br />education, prevention, and training efforts are provided for schools, law enforcement, social service providers, <br />community organizations, faith communities, medical facilities, community festivals, conferences, and media. <br />Schedule of Nertormace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 - <br />month contract period per quarter.
