STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />-_ TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR <br />.i ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS -TRAFFIC STUDY <br />• Specific traffic assessment must be conducted to address the impact on adjacent residential streets and <br />neighborhoods (if necessary). <br />• The traffic analysis will assess traffic conditions and the ramifications of adding traffic from the project <br />�1 as well as other conflicting volumes. <br />Submittal and Review of Report <br />The traffic study will be submitted to the EIR Consultant for review and forwarding to the City. Up to <br />three bound copies and one unbound copy of the study will be furnished on each submittal. Additional <br />copies can be furnished at our expense of reproductions. <br />Any proper or reasonable revisions will be incorporated into the traffic study in order to be fully <br />responsive to the Scope of Services. Reasonable revisions include any corrections to the report within the <br />general scope of work, but exclude any traffic data collection or analysis at any locations except as specified <br />d� in our proposal. <br />®� Project Support (BILLED ON A TIME -AND -MATERIAL BASIS NOT -TO -EXCEED) <br />ll KOA will furnish the following additional services: <br />�I • Estimates of project related traffic and daily traffic increases will be made available as soon as possible. <br />This will facilitate Air Quality and Noise Analysis. <br />Ill • We will assist as required to incorporate our report into the EIR. <br />®l • We will assist in addressing EIR comments that relate to traffic and circulation issues, following <br />circulation of the screen check or the draft EIR. However, if the number of comments is excessive <br />and/or additional analysis is required, additional compensation may be required beyond the amount <br />�l indicated. <br />• KOA will be available to responsible parties to discuss traffic aspects of the project from our offices, as <br />needed throughout the project. <br />Exclusions <br />These exclusions describe the situations that most frequently result in the need for extra work and <br />additional compensation. <br />• Attendance at meetings is billed up to $225 per hour for a Firm Principal, with a four-hour minimum <br />for night meetings. <br />it• Excluded are any costs or fees charged by any public agency(or private entity) for providing traffic <br />�J modeling services, additional, or new traffic model runs by any Agency. <br />• KOA reserves the right to request extra work fees if the Agency comments exceed the original scope <br />of services and/or what is reasonable. Unreasonable comments, include (but are not limited to) any <br />�1 traffic data collection, analysis, or surveys at any locations except as specified in our proposal, added <br />meetings, excessive surveys and qualifications of said surveys, gratuitous delays in processing study or <br />report, and unwillingness to work with Consultant in reaching a consensus of comments. <br />KOA CORPORATION <br />PLANNING & ENGINEERING 16 <br />
