FAIR HOUSING COMPLIANCE: - Respond to 12 or more allegations of discrimination resulting in a case file.
We will address all allegations of housing discrimination made by current or potential Santa Ana households. When our investigation supports
allegations or where evidence of continuing unlawful housing discrimination warrants additional action, we involve administrative
enforcement agencies and/or legal counsel.

B. COMMUNITY EDUCATION: -Involvement in at least 8 events reaching over 100 heads of households; distribute about 1,000 information
packets; coordinate a poster/essay contest within elementary schools
Our agency informs Santa Ana residents about their essential housing rights and responsibilities. We conduct presen-tations and workshops
on landlord-tenant and fair housing laws. We provide training and technical assistance to City staff as well as to real estate agents, lenders,
apartment managers/owners, and other housing industry professionals.

C. LANOlORD/TENANT: Handle about 3,000 inquiries, disputes or issues from about 890 households.
Most discrimination occurs within the landlord/tenant relationship, so this activity is important in facilitating our agency's primary goal. About
20% of the investigative case load originates from landlord/tenant contacts.

We assist people in resolving questions and avoiding disputes over evictions, deposit returns, substandard conditions, and other
landlord/tenant matters. Staff counsels individuals about their respective rights and their responsibilities. An important aspect of this activity
is community empowerment by educating clients and providing them resources to allow them to resolve their problem through their actions.

D.CITY ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: - Provide data collection, analysis and reporting to city COBG administrators as well as HUD auditors as
required.
