<br />To support the City of Santa Ana's (City) on -going efforts in
<br />providing a safe, attractive, and business -friendly community
<br />through implementing state and local construction codes,
<br />as well as planning and regulating future land uses, the
<br />planning division seeks a consultant that will respond
<br />quickly and provide expertise for a variety of disciplines to
<br />meet anticipated environmental planning service needs. The

<br />Who Is PBS&J?
<br />PBS&J is one of California's foremost multidisciplined
<br />environmental firms with 10 offices throughout the state.
<br />Founded in 1960, we have nearly 4,000 employees serving
<br />clients through a network of 80 offices nationwide. Over
<br />the past 48 years, we have developed expertise in a broad
<br />range of environmental support services and have completed
<br />over 8,500 successful environmental studies pursuant to
<br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National
<br />Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), state and federal
<br />Endangered Species Acts, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act,
<br />National Historic Preservation Act, and a host of other state
<br />and federal pieces of environmental legislation.
<br />Our staff provides the full range of environmental services,
<br />including CEQA/NEPA compliance, urban planning,
<br />biology, geology, hydrology and water quality, permitting,
<br />air quality, noise, cultural resources, and other sciences.
<br />We provide environmental analysis and planning for a full
<br />spectrum of planning, urban development, infrastructure, and
<br />natural resource projects, from assisting in the planning and
<br />design phases, through public outreach and environmental
<br />clearance, through conflict engagement and resolution,
<br />permitting, construction, and construction monitoring.

<br />PBS&J has a distinguished record of providing consulting
<br />services on complex public and private projects including
<br />EIRs on major urban development such as the Marina
<br />Shores Commercial East Commercial Center, the Rose Bowl
<br />Stadium Renovation Project, The Strand at Downtown
<br />Huntington Beach (Blocks 104/105) Redevelopment Project,
<br />Metro East Mixed -Use Overlay Zone, and The Shops at Santa
<br />Anita Specific Plan.
<br />Providing As -Needed Services
<br />During the next year, the City expects it will require a broad
<br />range of environmental consulting services, CEQA/NEPA
<br />documents, permitting, specialized technical studies, and
<br />agency and community coordination. The services will
<br />support specific City projects as they are proposed.
