We have a proven history of <br />collaborating with the subconsultants described <br />below to provide a greater breadth of resources <br />to our clients. <br />Kaplan Chen Kaplan — Cultural <br />Resources <br />Kaplan Chen Kaplan (KCK) believes that <br />historic preservation can preserve important <br />cultural heritage and provide a useful, <br />sustainable building. They utilize the Secretary <br />of Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic <br />Structures and State Historical Building Code <br />to assist us in analyzing and preserving original <br />historic design within a safe environment. <br />KCK provides a full range of historic <br />architecture and planning services, including <br />site and facilities analysis, historic research <br />and evaluations, master planning of historic <br />resources, coordination with governmental <br />agencies and reviews, concept documents for <br />approvals and fundraising efforts, architectural <br />design and construction documents, <br />specifications for treatment of historic structures <br />and materials, as well as comprehensive <br />construction phase services. <br />KCK meets the requirements of the National <br />Park Service for Historic Architect and <br />Architectural Historian. Their firm has a core <br />staff that has worked on a variety of historic <br />evaluations and rehabilitation projects and <br />provides in depth research, documentation, <br />and site review. KCK's analysis and evaluations <br />provide a framework for planning, design and <br />documentation. <br />0412:001609',0408 <br />From Vision to Reality...PBS&J <br />KOA Corporation — Traffic <br />The KOA Corporation (KOA) is a consulting <br />engineering firm providing planning and <br />engineering services to government and private <br />sector clients. Founded in 1987, the firm is <br />controlled by nine owners /principals. KOA <br />has a staff of over 80 employees located in five <br />offices (Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, <br />Ontario, and Oakland). <br />KOA staff includes 15 registered civil engineers <br />and/or registered traffic engineers. The <br />company has strong expertise in transportation <br />engineering and in project management. They <br />have served in key roles on many of the largest <br />transportation projects in Southern California. <br />They have applicable experience in project <br />management and in all project phases where <br />transportation expertise is required. They <br />have strong CAD capabilities and use both <br />AutoCAD and Intergraph MicroStation.
