Local partners are made
aware of the legal services provided through this grant and make referrals to Legal Aid through an expedited
intake system, which provides for immediate referral of clients who need legal assistance to LASOC. SAHOP
staff regularly contacts homeless service providers within our community and collaborates with providers that
are interested in participating in this service delivery system.
SAHOP strives to remove legal barriers, to provide wrap-around services to move these clients toward self-
sufficieny, and to increase access to legal services for the homeless by collaborating with all of the interested
local agencies that offer services to the homeless and by providing intake, case evaluation, advice and counsel
and representation (when appropriate) to 60 homeless clients at the Mental Health Association, the St Vicent
De Paul Drop In Center, and the Legal Aid Society.
Schedule of Performace
Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 -
month contract period per quarter.
