The <br />following task orders required <br />either a specialty subconsultant or <br />the work was performed primarily <br />by a subconsultant under the <br />management of DMJM Harris. <br />Civic Center Fountain Restoration: <br />An industry -leading fountain design <br />firm was retained to develop <br />conceptual and final plans for the <br />restoration of four fountains within <br />the Civic Center Plaza. <br />Pepper Tree Planter: The planter <br />outside the Ross Annex of City Hall <br />was completely refurbished with <br />lightweight soils, new irrigation and <br />planting. <br />Thornton Park Facilities: DMJM <br />Harris hired a local architect that <br />had previously assisted the City <br />for Improvements at this park as a <br />cost-effective measure to prepare <br />the plans for a castle-themed <br />administration and restroom facility. <br />Memory Lane Mitigation: DMJM <br />Harris hired an environmental firm <br />and landscape contractor to prepare <br />the soils and plant native materials <br />as a mitigation measure for the <br />completed Memory Lane bridge <br />widening project. Efforts included <br />coordination with the Corps of <br />Engineers and Department of Fish <br />and Game. <br />Supporting City In -House <br />Design Efforts: To provide the <br />necessary support to the City staff <br />in their design efforts, DMJM Harris <br />managed subconsultant efforts to <br />provide the following: <br />• Field Survey in the Park <br />Santiago neighborhood <br />• Geotechnical investigations <br />for the storm drain design on <br />Westminster and Segerstrom <br />Potholing of existing utilities <br />for the storm drain on <br />Westminster. as well as the <br />existing foundations for the <br />construction of the art wall at <br />the Transportation Center. <br />0 <br />EMEE223�� <br />
