Austin - <br />Foust Associates has worked with PENCO Engineering, Inc. <br />on numerous street improvement projects in the past and <br />we have developed an on-going working relationship where <br />we share CAD files and understand each other's <br />responsibilities. <br />Firm Profile: <br />Austin -Foust Associates, Inc., located in the City of Santa <br />Ana for over 25 years, has previously been selected by the <br />City of Santa Ana to provide traffic engineering consultation <br />on an as -needed basis to assist the City in the consultant <br />selection process. Austin -Foust provides a broad range of <br />consulting services in the area of traffic engineering and <br />transportation planning. Clients served include public and <br />private entities throughout Southern California, with <br />services ranging from special studies directed at specific <br />problems to comprehensive projects involving all facets of <br />transportation and traffic engineering. <br />Traffic F r ineerinj `services: <br />Proposed Team: <br />Acting as Principal -in -Charge for this project, Joe Foust who <br />prior to establishing Austin -Foust Associates, Inc. was the <br />head of the Transportation and Traffic Engineering Division <br />for the City of Santa Ana, a position held for over five years. <br />While with Santa Ana, he was involved in a variety of <br />transportation projects including creation of the OCTD <br />Multi -modal terminal in the downtown area. Mr. Foust is a <br />past member and Chairman of the Orange County <br />Transportation Agency's Technical Advisory Committee, as <br />well as Southern California Association of Governments <br />Transportation and Utilities Committee. Mr. Foust has <br />prepared studies and reports covering a wide range of <br />traffic engineering activities such as impact studies of <br />highway improvement, impacts of proposed development, <br />traffic operations studies, channelization and signing <br />studies, and computerized traffic control systems, as well as <br />performing traffic signal system studies. <br />DESIGN - an in-house design group with experience in various <br />LAND USE / TRANSPORTATION PLANNING - Uses state - <br />aspects of roadway design.
