SR-22 Design Build Project, Orange County, CA - Design Engineer for main drainage facilities for the <br />11.5-mile widening of SR-22 for OCTA. Major flood control drainage facilities affecting the freeway were <br />identified and correspondence with local flood control agencies with hydrology analysis and reports were <br />submitted. One major design completed was the Lewis Flood Channel, a 1.5-mile, 12-ft wide Reinforced <br />concrete box under the freeway. All design was completed with input from the contractor to minimize <br />construction costs during each design phase. Michael also provided oversight for the completion of the project <br />Storm Water Data Report. <br />? I.5 Gateway PS&E, Buena Park, CA - Lead Design Engineer for the roadway layouts and drainage design for <br />a 2-mile, 10-lane freeway for OCTA. Tasks included horizontal and vertical design for the freeway, four ramps <br />and two local street overcrossings to Caltrans and ASHTO standards. He has also participated in the preparation of several conceptual design <br />reports for highway and street improvement projects. Doug has extensive experience in computer applications in traffic <br />and transportation engineering including Highway Capacity Manual Software and the use of TRANSYT-7F and <br />PASSER II for analysis and timing of traffic signal systems. City of Santa Ana, I5/SR-55 Congestion Relief Corridor Project, Santa Ana, CA - Doug analyzed and <br />designed a complete TOS for these arterial corridors including CCTV, CMS, HAR, Video Detection Systems <br />and citywide fiber optic/copper wire communications. <br />? Brookhurst Street Fiber Trunk, City of Anaheim, CA - Doug was engineer of record on the Brookhurst <br />Street Trunk Closure project in Anaheim.
