Mr. Keyvan Pirbazari, PE
PBS &J
September 10, 2008
Page 4
Additional Scope: Redo Task 6 as described in the original scope due to revision in
traffic forecast and traffic analysis in response to Caltrans comments dated June 17,
2008.
Task 7 — Meeting Attendance
$0
Original Scope: Attend up to five (5) meetings with project team and /or jurisdiction staff
regarding proposed project.
Work Performed: Task 7 is completed, and the service performed is well beyond the
original scope of work. Urban Crossroads, Inc. has already attended several additional
meetings and did not charge extra for the expanded scope of work.
Project Total: $21,700
ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL FEES
The additional professional fees that we expensed during the month of July and August
totaled $21,700. This contract amendment does not account for any work efforts that
Urban Crossroads, Inc. performed in support of the project from March through June of
this year. This increases the original contract amount of $20,000 to a total project
amount of $41,700. The professional fees included in this analysis are based on
the actual work efforts for the month of July and August that were needed to adequately
respond to the Caltrans comments dated June 17, 2008. Additional comments provided
by Caltrans may NOT be covered as part of the contract amendment.
TERMS
If agreeable, this letter serves as our mutual, contractual agreement and authorization to
proceed with additional work to the original proposal dated and signed by Client on
August 30, 2007. By signing this additional work authorization, Client acknowledges that
all original contractual details remain intact and unchanged including Deliverables,
Liability and Timing issues due to unforeseen circumstances. Please sign one copy of
this authorization for additional work and return it to us for our files, or send us the
agreements utilized by your company. We look forward to continuing to serve you on this
project. This proposal offer is valid for 60 days.
If you have any questions, please contact me directly at (949) 660 -1994 ext. 203
Respectfully submitted,
URBAN CROSSROADS, INC.
Bill Lawson, AICP, PTP
Principal
BL:TH:lr
Attachment
