She will <br />�s�ork in tandem with the Safe Schools Secretan� to monitor expenditures and prepare «'I_A <br />invoices on a monthly. The Fiscal Manager will devote (?0 FTE) and the Secretar}' will devote <br />(.10 FTE) to processing VXTI_A invoice on a monthly basis. Both have extensive experience in <br />working with federal grant budgets and will provide their services as in -kind to the VdI_A proposal. <br />5. The Orange <br />Count` Department of Education (OCDE) has an annual budget that exceeds S250 million <br />dollars and operates school sites throughout Orange County. OCDE has multiple revenue <br />streams: including. propert,, taxes. federal grants. state grants, state aide. and fees for iletServices. <br />OCDE vie«�s the grant award notice as a promise to pay and will cover program cost while the <br />«'IA contract is pending. ACCESS Safe Schools. as an agenc��. is financially sound and sustains <br />its programs after initial funding by utilizing the folloVTing sustainability strategies: full-time <br />rant writing. seeking philantluopic sponsors. foundation support. recruiting business partners.. <br />and developing a corporate donor campaign. Safe Schools has an excellent history of grant <br />implementation. reporting. and meeting performance goals. Safe Schools partners with Orange <br />County Probation. Social Services.
