The pavement is deteriorating
due to weather, age, and heavy usage. Some of the adjacent curbs,
gutters, sidewalk, and driveway approaches are also in various states of
disrepair. The project provides for construction of new pavement and
replacement of damaged concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveway
approaches, and wheelchair ramps. Once completed, these improvements
will enhance the ride quality and surface drainage.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on October 31 and November 3,
2008, and bids were opened on November 19, 2008. A summary of the bid
invitations mailed, the bids received, and the bid results follows.
23E-1
