<br />Airport Noise -The City updated its Airport Environs Element detailing potential noise
<br />impacts for the Planning Area impacted by the John Wayne Airport. Although the area
<br />within the 60 and 65 CNEL contours (Noise Impact Zone 1 and 2) is relatively small,
<br />there are sound attenuation requirements to minimize the adverse effects on the
<br />community within the specified areas.
