EXHIBIT A -I <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Defection and Xaterids qvivestigation Scope <br />Field Services <br />Pavement Deflection (Strength) 'resting Along Existing Roadwav <br />t., t, 2-1 <br />• Non-destructive pavement deflection data shall be gathered front <br />the right wheel path of each through traveled lane at select <br />intervals based upon roadway length to define present roadway <br />strength, <br />• Pavement strengths will be measured utilizing file jll,S Falling; <br />NN"ciaht Deflectormeter, imposing a series of 9,000 pound loads per <br />California Test Method 35,0. <br />c), Data obtained will be obtained at ten (10) sensor locations <br />spaced 6" to 12" on center at each test point defining the <br />pavernent deflection basin tinder loading. <br />Visn' <br />al pavement conditions and/or distress, cross streets, <br />presence or absence of curb and gutter, and other such <br />observations shall be documented. <br />o Correlating data will include pavement surface temperature <br />and CPS spatial location at each test point. <br />Field data collected shall be returned to our office for <br />computer modeling and analysis. <br />Pavement Core Sampling within Existing Roadway <br />• LaBelle 'Xiarvin will obtain No Fee LticroaChnWilt Permit from <br />the City (if required),adhering to the City re(Ittirenjents for <br />Traffic Control, hours of operation;, method of patching, etc. <br />• Representative core sample locations will he selected marked on <br />the pavement surface and Underground Service Alert notified to <br />avoid conflict with buried utilities. <br />• Core sample locations will be relocated which may interfere with <br />buried lines or pipes. <br />• Coring and subsurface sampling toill be performed at pre -selected <br />locations to determine the thickness of the e,\istiol, structural <br />, g <br />section including but not limited to Ispil.111 concrete lavr(s), <br />LaWkm, 0 Aulmin <br />
