Task 5: Advertising and Event Marketing <br />Objective: Westbound will utilize the Marketing Plan to employ industry standard advertising <br />techniques to publicize the ReadyOC web presence. <br />Task Description: <br />Through the use of the Marketing Plan, Westbound will advertise ReadyOC's web presence <br />through the use of: <br />a. Sponsored Advertisements <br />1. Identify and pursue up to 2 major partners (ex. Register and/or ARC) for <br />sponsored advertising Sponsored Links <br />1. Identify and pursue up to 2 major partners (ex. Register and/or ARC) web linking. <br />b. Radio Advertisements <br />1. Develop and implement up to 2 radio PSA/ads running on up to 2 local stations <br />(frequency/rates pending negotiation). <br />c. Public Service Announcements <br />1. Develop and implement up to 2 radio PSA/ads running on up to 2 local stations <br />(frequency/rates pending negotiation). <br />d. Other advertising as outlined in the Marketing Plan. <br />Responsibilities: <br />Westbound shall: <br />a. Utilize the Marketing Plan to advertise the ReadyOC web presence. <br />b. Provide subject matter experts to professionally present radio advertisements and public <br />service announcements. <br />c. Establish advertisements in various media markets. <br />d. Provide training to Santa Ana and stakeholders in the area of media relations <br />Santa Ana shall: <br />a. Approve advertisements <br />b. Provide trainees in regards to media relations <br />Completion Criteria: <br />25E-28 <br />
