(9) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />EXHIBIT I <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor shall perform services as set forth below. <br />A. Contractor General Requirements <br />1. Provide Security Services for City Special Events, including but not limited to Tet, Santa <br />Ana Fun Run, Egg-Cellent Adventure, 4th of July, Chicano Heritage Festival, Fiestas <br />Patrias, Movies in the Park, Concerts in the Park, etc. <br />2. Contracted security services will include a specific number of guards, post locations, <br />and security hours per event, which will be determined by Santa Ana Police Department <br />and City Special Event staff. <br />3. Contracted security services will be required to submit a quote for approval from Special <br />Events Staff before the event. <br />4. Contractor must be able to provide Security Guards for as -needed assignments within <br />24 hours of notification from City Representative. <br />5. The contractor should be prepared to provide on -call security guards as needed by the <br />City or reduce service levels as determined at the City's sole discretion. <br />6. Orientation time is billable for no more than thirty (30) minutes. When multiple guards <br />are required, only the security guard supervisor will be paid for the orientation time. <br />7. Keep an updated and approved Security Guard list, which must include, but not limited <br />to: <br />a) Full Name: First, Middle, Last <br />b) Photo: Current, face <br />c) Address: Residence <br />d) Phone Numbers: Contact <br />e) Security Guard Registration: current <br />f) CA driver's licenses: current <br />g) Experience: at least 12 months prior work experience as a registered security <br />guard <br />8. Do not place any guards at any posts unless that guard is on the approved security <br />guard list. <br />9. The City shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor's <br />staff assigned to this contract. The City is not required to provide any reason, rationale <br />or additional factual information if it elects to request any specific key personnel be <br />removed from performing services under the awarded contract. The City shall review <br />and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor's personnel. Said <br />approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. <br />10.At City's sole discretion, City may allow a security guard, who is removed from post <br />assignment, to be reassigned only after said security guard has been fully retrained or <br />received additional training at Contractor's sole expense and to City's satisfaction. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP No. 24-138 Page 16 of 33 <br />
