(e) Storage of goods and supplies shall be limited to those sold at retail on the <br />premises or utilized in the course of business. <br />(f) Public utility structures, including electric distribution and transmission substations <br />shall be screened by a solid wall at least eight (8) feet high, except as restricted by <br />Sections 36-45, 36-46, and 36-47. <br />(g) Any activity permitted shall be conducted in such a manner as not to have a <br />detrimental effect on permitted adjacent uses by reason of refuse matter, noise, <br />light, or vibration. <br />(h) Small SGale Artisan/craft product - limited on site production and research <br />and development land uses shall require a solid wall or fence not less than eight <br />(8) feet in height along any rear or side lot line. <br />(i) All business activities, including, but not limited to, compounding, processing, <br />packaging or assembly of articles of merchandise and treatment of products shall <br />be conducted within a completely enclosed building. No ancillary vehicle <br />maintenance or repair shall be allowed on site. <br />Q) Loading areas shall not be visible from streets. Loading areas not facing a street <br />shall be setback at least thirty-five (35) feet from the property line. <br />(k) No business activity that generates noise or vibration shall be conducted <br />between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 p.m. and <br />10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. <br />(1) _Automobile servicing uses including nonconforming <br />establishments, shall comply with the following operational standards: <br />(1) No automobile servicing shall be conducted before 7:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. <br />Monday through Friday and before 10:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m. Saturday and <br />Sunday. <br />(2) All work shall be conducted inside an enclosed structure. <br />(3) Outdoor or overnight vehicle storage is not permitted." <br />Section 11. Section 41-2009 (Operational Standards for Nonconforming <br />Industrial Uses) of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby added in its <br />entirety to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 41-2009. Operational Standards for Nonconforming Industrial Uses. <br />(a) In addition to the operational standards listed in Sec. 41-2008, with the exception <br />of subsection (c) of Sec. 41-2008, the following shall apply to nonconforming <br />industrial uses: <br />Ordinance No. NS-XXX <br />Page 23 of 49 <br />
