potential hazards to the foundations and <br />recommendations for the foundation design. <br />iii. GDR presenting the project site subsurface geotechnical <br />conditions based on the exploration drilling and sampling <br />and laboratory testing, evaluating impacts of these <br />conditions, and providing recommendations for slope <br />stability, grading factors, embankments, type of earth <br />retaining systems, and culvert foundations. <br />iv. Materials Report summarizing field and laboratory <br />results, listing special considerations and/or assumptions, <br />providing recommendations for the design of pavement <br />structural sections, drainage culvert material selections, <br />and corrosiveness of new culverts. <br />v. ADL Report outlining the findings of the field <br />investigation, results of laboratory tests and statistical <br />analysis and recommendations of mitigation measures to <br />meet current Caltrans and Department of Toxic <br />Substances Control standards regarding ADL <br />contaminated soil. <br />4. Utility Coordination and Design -All impacted utility lines within the <br />project limits shall be compiled on utility base plans and forwarded to <br />each utility agency for review, correction, and certification of accuracy. <br />The Consultant shall copy the City of Santa Ana on all transmittals, <br />notifications, submittals and letters to the utility agencies. Other tasks <br />include: <br />a. Identify all utilities with prior/perceptive rights. <br />b. Prepare utilities plans and pothole plans. <br />c. Coordinate utility designs-the design of relocated facilities and <br />new designated service point connection-with utility agencies, <br />including notifying at the 60%, 95% and final submittal <br />milestones, distributing of plans with each notification, and <br />keeping a log of all correspondence with each utility company. <br />The Consultant shall be responsible for coordinating and <br />obtaining the necessary utility designs for each submittal <br />package. <br />d. Prepare a Utility Relocation Agreement and/or Joint Use <br />Agreement for each prior right utility relocation within State R/W. <br />5. Drainage Design -The Consultant shall perform the drainage design in <br />accordance with Caltrans, County of Orange and affected local <br />agencies.
