Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2009-02. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Request of Applicant <br />Vihn Tran, owner of the subject property, is requesting approval to <br />develop a 6,002 square feet medical office building to be located at 3417 <br />West Fifth Street. To allow the proposed project, the applicant is <br />requesting a general plan amendment to redesignate the site from Open <br />Space (OS) to General Commercial (GC). Additionally, the request includes <br />a zoning ordinance amendment to modify the North Harbor Specific Plan <br />(SP2) to redesignate the site from Open Space to General Commercial. <br />Property Description <br />The project site is 1 <br />Streets. The site <br />contiguous lots with <br />currently vacant, but <br />that was constructed <br />ocated at the northeast corner of Fifth and Jackson <br />is a rectangular shaped parcel composed of two <br />a total area of 19,810 square feet.
