EXHIBIT "A" <br />TURF MAINTENANCE <br />FAC/L/TYSERV/CES <br />1. Maintain all turf areas in healthy and attractive condition by weeding, mowing, trimming, edging <br />and other necessary operations including fertilization, pest and disease control and replanting or <br />reseeding as necessary. <br />2. Mow and edge all turf areas weekly, remove and dispose of all cuttings. Trim around all sprinklers <br />to provide maximum water coverage. <br />3. Irrigate as necessary in order to maintain proper growth and appearance. <br />4. Maintain lawn areas in a weed-free condition using either manual or chemical methods. <br />5. Fertilize lawn areas with a slow release, well- balance fertilizer a minimum of four times per year to <br />maintain a lush, green appearance. <br />6. Turf areas adjacent to walk, curbs, paved areas, fixtures and shrub or ground cover areas will <br />be trimmed to maintain a neat appearance. Care will be exercised when using power <br />equipment. <br />SHRUB AND GROUND COVER MAINTENANCE <br />1. Trim and prune all shrubs to maintain a neat and well-groomed natural appearance. <br />2, Trim and edge as necessary to restrict growth from encroaching on walkways and other adjacent <br />areas. <br />3. Fertilize and amend all shrub beds and annual bedding areas a minimum of four times per year. <br />4. Irrigate as necessary to maintain proper growth and appearance. <br />5. Maintain shrubs and ground cover areas in aweed-free condition using either manual or chemical <br />methods. <br />6. Replacing and/or reseeding of all bare spots or weak areas will be done as necessary. <br />7. Cultivate and rake clean bare areas at least once a month. <br />8.
