FACIL/TY SERVICES <br />SLOPE COVER MAINTENANCE/IVY <br />Weed-whip, hand-pull or chemically treat weeds at any time they appear on slopes and become <br />a detriment to appearance. <br />2. Exercise care in weeding of slopes so as not to damage other trees and shrubs incorporated into <br />the plant mix. <br />3. Irrigate as necessary to maintain proper growth and appearance. <br />4. Fertilize all slope areas a minimum of two times a year. <br />TREE MAINTENANCE <br />Pruning of trees that do not exceed 15 feet in height on asemi-annual basis to maintain a neat <br />and well-groomed natural appearance. DMS Landscape Services will provide pruning proposals <br />over and above this amount for trees taller than 15 feet in height. <br />2. Remove damaged branches back to the point of breakage. <br />3, Tree stakes, and ties will be checked and corrected as needed. <br />4. Fertilization will be done as necessary a minimum of (3) three times per year. <br />IRRIGATION MAINTENANCE <br />Maintain the irrigation system in an operable condition at all times. Check the entire system for <br />efficient operation at least once per month. <br />2. Maintain all sprinkler heads in a good working order including adjustments for proper coverage <br />and adjusting the height of risers to accommodate plant growth, <br />3. Maintain all automatic irrigation controllers in accordance with manufacturing recommendations. <br />Inspect controllers on a monthly basis for correctness of timing operation and scheduling as <br />required for proper irrigation. Use repeat cycles to ensure maximum penetration with minimum <br />run-off, thus conserving water. As a general rule, normal; irrigation operation will be between <br />9:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. <br />4.
