(3) All trash receptacles shall be emptied daily seven (7) days per week <br />and replaced with new trash liners. The Contractor shall install trash <br />liners so as not to be seen on the exterior of the receptacles. The <br />Contractor shall be responsible for replacing missing trash receptacle lids <br />and interior waste receptacles when missing. Lids and interior waste <br />receptacles shall be provided by the City. <br />(4) All shrubs and groundcover areas shall be highly detailed weekly. At <br />no time shall any dead leaves, flowers or branches exist. The contactor <br />shall remove/prune plant material by hand using hand shears or toppers <br />leaving no stubs. The intent is to prune the plant material without the <br />average lay person noticing the cuts. <br />(~) All trees below I~' shall be pruned monthly using hand shears and <br />loppe--s. The intent is to prune the plant material without the average lay <br />person noticing the cuts. <br />(6) X111 grandstand bleachers ;hall be inspected dail~~ and if necessar~~ <br />wiped clean so they arc fi-ee of dirt. stains, markin~,s. etc. <br />e) City of Santa Ana Corporation Yard -The Corporate Yard is the city's <br />maintenance operation center. In addition to the standard Grounds-Landscape <br />Specification the following special maintenance shall be performed. <br />(1) All trash receptacles shall be emptied daily five (5) days per week <br />and replaced with new trash liners. The <br />sand in the cigarette urns shall be fresh and leveled. Contractor shall <br />replace cigarette urn sand with #20 white silica sand once per month. <br />17. City Inspection <br />a) The Director or his designated representative shall regularly inspect the <br />parks, playgrounds, fields and all other City property subject to this Agreement. <br />If said inspection results in discovery of work that is not performed in the <br />manner, and to the professional degree set forth in the Specifications, Contractor <br />agrees that the City shall deduct from Contractor's next monthly payment, the <br />City's actual or estimated cost of performing the work to bring the property into <br />conformance with the specifications. Additionally, City shall impose liquidated <br />damages of up to $300.00 per inspection, per park not meeting the specifications <br />during any such inspection. <br />30 <br />25C-206 <br />
