Award a contract to PTM General Engineering Services, Inc., the <br />lowest responsible bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices in the <br />estimated amount of $118,852 for construction of System Detection. <br />2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $160,500. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This project includes installing traffic signal system detection at <br />various traffic signals to collect traffic volume, speed and occupancy <br />data (Exhibit 1). The project will allow staff to monitor and make <br />traffic signal timing adjustments as necessary based on real time <br />traffic conditions. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on April 24 and 27, 2009, and <br />bids were opened on May 11, 2009.
