N-2009-028 CITIZE~BSERVER The Leader in community policing alert to015 CitizenObserver Web Based Alerting Toolset Summary CitizenObserver is a web based notification toolset that allows citizens to opt in to receive and respond to text, email, and web alerts from your agency. Launched on August 8, 2001, the system is being used by hundreds of Agencies around the country to communicate information ranging from crime alerts, sex offender notifications, traffic and weather related information, community events, homeland/hometown security related info and much more. • Alerts are received by citizens according to their preference of text message, email or both.
