EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor shall inspect, maintain and repair the City's fire alarm systems, as set forth in this <br />exhibit. <br />I. QUALIFICATIONS <br />1. Company <br />1.1 The Company shall have an office located within fifty (50) miles of the facility. <br />1.2 The Company shall have ten (10) or more years of experience in maintaining <br />fire alarm systems. <br />1.3 The Company shall have (at the time of RFP submittal and during the previous <br />six (6) months) one (1) or more full-time, qualified service personnel in their <br />employment. The Company shall submit the names and qualifications of the <br />service personnel with the RFP. <br />1.4 The Company shall have (at the time of RFP submittal and during the previous <br />six (6) months) one (1) or more full-time, qualified service design engineering <br />personnel in their employment. The Company shall submit the names and <br />qualifications of the engineering personnel with the RFP. <br />1.5 The Company shall be set up to receive and dispatch qualified service personnel <br />to emergency calls, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year including a redundancy <br />out-state system. This procedure must not involve answering machines. <br />1.6 The Company shall be capable of providing 24 hour service, 365 days a year <br />including weekends and holidays, using qualified service personnel. <br />1.7 The Company shall be approved by Underwriters Laboratories as an authorized <br />UL certification organization for Proprietary Fire Alarm Systems. <br />1.8 The Company shall meet all requirements contained in this specification and <br />will be held responsible for the quality completeness of all work performed as <br />part of this specification. <br />1.9 The Company shall have a valid California C 10 (Electrical) and C 16 Fire <br />Sprinkler Contractor License. <br />2.
