Place ordinances on first reading and authorize publication: <br />a. Ordinance repealing Santa Ana Municipal Code §2-603 <br />through §2-609 relating to the Library Board. <br />b. Ordinance repealing Santa Ana Municipal Code ~2-550 <br />through §2-554 relating to the Early Prevention and <br />Intervention Commission. <br />c. Ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code §2-325 <br />relating to compensation for members of boards, <br />commissions . <br />2. Adopt a resolution repealing Resolutions No. 93-054 and No. <br />2002-085 relating to the Human Relations Commission. <br />3. Direct City staff to prepare a recommended ordinance <br />creating a new seven member City Commission focused on <br />enhancing opportunities for youth in Santa Ana to <br />significantly reduce gang involvement. <br />4. Direct that the Historic Resources Commission and Youth <br />commission reduce their meetings from monthly to a quarterly <br />or as needed basis as determined by the Executive Directors <br />of Planning and Building and Parks and Recreation, <br />respectively, and direct that the Environmental <br />Transportation and Advisory Committee meet on an as needed <br />basis as determined by the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency. <br />65A-1 <br />
