sections shall be prepared at a scale and frequency approved <br />by Caltrans and the City of Santa Ana. The cut and fill volume <br />quantities shall be computer generated and shall be included <br />with the cross sections. The cross sections shall be provided to <br />the City of Santa Ana with the final plans, which will both be <br />made available in a separate document to potential bidders. <br />d. The Consultant shall directly submit the PS &E at each milestone <br />to each of the project stakeholders. At each milestone, eight (8) <br />copies of the PS &E and reports each shall be delivered to the <br />Cities of Santa Ana and Irvine, along with the requisite number <br />of copies required by Caltrans District 12. <br />e. The Consultant shall submit the requisite number of plan sets to <br />the utilities for review of conflicts. <br />The Consultant shall provide a complete Resident Engineers file <br />set at the conclusion of design, including a copy of all third -party <br />correspondence, utility logs, cross sections, survey data file, etc. <br />pertinent for the Resident Engineer as described in the Caltrans <br />Project Development Procedures Manual (PDPM). <br />V. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. All work shall be performed in conformance with the latest State of California <br />and the Cities of Santa Ana and Irvine's policies, procedures and standards. <br />B. Consultant shall carry out the instructions received from the City of Santa Ana <br />and shall cooperate with the City of Santa Ana and other involved agencies. <br />C. The Consultant has total responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of all <br />documents and plans prepared and shall check all such materials accordingly. <br />The plans will be reviewed by the City of Santa Ana for conformity with the <br />requirements of the Agreement. Reviews by the City do NOT include detailed <br />review or checking of design or the accuracy with which such designs are <br />depicted in the documents and the plans. The responsibility for accuracy and <br />completeness of such items remains solely that of Consultant. <br />D. The documents and plans furnished under the Agreement shall be of a quality <br />acceptable to the Cities of Santa Ana and Irvine and the State. The criteria for <br />acceptance shall be a product of neat appearance, well organized, technically <br />and grammatically correct, checked, and dated and having the maker and <br />checker identified. The minimum standard of appearance, organization and <br />content of the documents shall be that of similar types produced by the State <br />and set forth in related Caltrans manuals. The Consultant shall modify its work <br />as necessary to meet the level of acceptability defined by the criteria above. <br />17 <br />
