If any additional design element is identified as a non - standard feature <br />per Caltrans HDM during the PS &E phase, the Consultant shall obtain <br />Caltrans approval for the supplemental fact sheet. <br />10. Specifications — Specifications shall be prepared for each design <br />option separately and submitted at the following milestones — 30% <br />(table of contents only), 60 %, 95% (pre - final) and 100% (final) <br />completion levels. All work within the Caltrans R/W shall conform to <br />the State's Standard Special Provisions (SSP's) and State's Standard <br />Specifications. Incorporation of the boilerplate of the Cities of Santa <br />Ana and Irvine general provisions and specifications to the State's <br />Specifications shall be the responsibility of the Consultant. <br />A list of contract pay items with the descriptions, item codes and <br />estimated quantities shall be included in the front of the special <br />provisions. Pay items shall reference the specification section defining <br />the measurement and payment. <br />11. Cost Estimate — Cost estimates <br />option separately and submitted <br />plans, specifications and reports. <br />shall be prepared for each design <br />at each milestone along with the <br />Quantities for all contract pay items shall be substantiated by <br />calculations.
