Comprehensive experience working directly with unempioyed or underemployed <br />individuals (14 years), and providing Vocational Assessment and Career Counseling <br />Services (13 years), including administering and interpreting a wide array of vocationai <br />assessment instruments. <br />· Familiarity with various aspects and resources of the Orange County mental heaith <br />professional community, as well as career development and labor market information <br />resources <br />· Knowledgeable and experienced in working with loss (e.g., loss of empioyment), seif <br />esteem issues, stress management, depression and other mental health disorders, and <br />the techniques to facilitate improved functioning and outlook <br />. Knowledge and skill in personal and vocational evaluation to determine ievel of need <br />and services <br />. Proficient in maintaining detailed records, confidentiality, and communicating with <br />appropriate staff <br />. Knowledge of and familiarity with the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Welfare to Work <br />(wtW), and Work Experience (WEX) programs, the muitiple agency partners who are a <br />part of these programs, and excellent relationships with the staff members of the Santa <br />Ana W/O/R/K Center <br />.
